So, we have an exciting couple of weekends coming up! \o/

This weekend is Birmingham Memorabilia, where me and Owl are going to get to meet MITCH PILEGGI OMFG!!!! (Ass. Director Skinner from the X-Files, who I will probably ask to father my children). To be honest, this is pretty much the only reason I'm so hyped up on going. I don't think I'd be so bothered about the event otherwise. That and the chance to cosplay, which I can never turn down (even though I don't even know what I'm wearing yet!).

Plus, it'll be nice to just spend a little time with *death-may-die, as we haven't been able to see much of each other thanks to work and crappy Christmas hours.

And next weekend, we have the Grand International Cosplay Ball, with many many thanks to *z-ex and *RandomRper, who are kindly ferrying us down to London, and putting us up for the night! Thank you so much, guys! <3

I had planned to do him for Fuyu, but didn't have the time, so I reckon now is round about the time to set the plan in motion. I'm SO excited >D


Despite all this good news, I have had some really crappy news today to balance it out: Amecon have decided to raise the age limit for next year's con, so my Funbari Spirits partner in crime ~Destinys-spirits isn't going to be able to make it D=
This probably also goes for quite a few members of the cosplay group, so we're gonna see if we can arrange a full group meet at another con instead. Anybody that's still able to make it to Ame, we'll still be on board for a partial meet, but without Fi, I'm a little down-hearted regardless

In IRL news, the supervisor position's finally come up again! There are 2 positions available, both of which are gonna be filled by internal promotions. So, fingers crossed for this time
